…Louis Henry Sullivan. Sullivan constructed very traditional buildings but would decorate them with ironwork that took on the shapes of vines and plants. Just prior to World War One the Art Nouveau scene began to fade away. It led to Art Deco movement which was predominent during the twenties and thirties.
