The evidence discussed shows that, statistically speaking, the system is working in the sense that there are less juveniles re-offending and therefore ending up in jails. Where stakeholders are concerned, there will always be the opposing view to whatever system is used but it is fair and just to more people, which in turn shows that the different principles applied when sentencing juveniles is appropriate.
