The beginning of the 1900's was Canada's time to show the power it possessed. This was first shown by the rapid grow of its economy. Yet what the world did not know was how much more important Canada would be in a conflict much more important than the wealth of any nation. …shadow of Britain. The supply, battle effort and the money raised were very important factors in Britain and its allies winning the war. Had it not been for Canada the Entente may have never won the war or the casualties and damage done too many European countries may have increased dramatically. Though Canada was not a huge power back in 1918, it still did more than its part in fighting for what they believed was right.
