The attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 came as a huge surprise to the United States, and led to a series of events that the world would never forget. The U.S. won the race but the result was something that changed the world forever and something that the world would never forget. From that day on the world knew that having this new weapon in the wrong hands could destroy all life on this earth.
