…portrayed what happened to these courageous teens in a way we could relate too, because they were all around the same age as us and were experiancing high school, just as we did- except they had to deal with so much more violence. I can't even imagine the torture they were put through. I really respect and admire them for their bravery. I would highly recommend this book to people of all ages, especially teens.
