I spy with my eager eyes a lounging woman across the sky. Without clothes or a silhouette, the picture is foggy. The form is subtle creating a vignette. …e myself in 2002 standing in my high rise looking across the space between two buildings and envisioning a woman behind a curtain. I watch her as Picasso has created: mysterious, transparent, sexual, a goddess. This painting inspires me because there is never a period at the end of this Picasso sentence. Female Nude is a simple creation on the outside. On the inside Female Nude are layers of genius communicating expression through uprising painting techniques.
