Violence in the media as it corresponds to school shootings

I though that most people are smart enough to tell the difference between virtual reality and actual reality, visual effects and real disaster, and expression and action. …lives, and it feels good. If a kid snapped it is very possible that he would think about doing something drastic. Now, since our generation has become somewhat emotionally immune, through the media, it seems very easy to them to just get a gun, and kill a bunch of kids. I mean they were horrible; don't they deserve it. It's not like it's that big of a deal; you see it on the news everyday.
