Types of Aid.

There are six main types of aid that are available to poorer countries to help them. These are development aid, emergency aid, bi-lateral aid, multi-lateral aid, project aid and programme aid. Programme aid: This is aid that is given for financial purposes, eg to pay off debts, this is happening quite a lot in Africa, but unless the country donating the money decides to wave any pay back then ultimately the country becomes just in debt to a different nation.
