Although this program protects minorities it can be related to an attempt to even out the social classes. Especially because the minorities that are protected statistically make up the largest portions of our lower class since, our capitalist system is geared towards white males. Overall, Smith would encourage the system of checks and balances we employ but would site our growing gap from the upper class to the lower class as our nations' greatest danger.
