of God hasn't really changed. Growing up Catholic I was raised with the same teachings as Lewis is writing for us in these books. I still see God as benevolent and loving, the Ultimate Love and Joy in fact. I know that I am human and can never be God, but I can always strive to bring myself closer to him. It is in doing good, and living God's word that I can achieve this.
