I think there are always lessons to be learned, whether it is from natural disasters, war, or terrorist attacks. But it seems as if the lessons learned are always forgotten. …of New Orleans have reacted differently? I wish I knew the answers. Natural disasters, wars, terrorism, these things all expose the thin line between civilization and "decivilization." Some learn from it, some don't. Some remember the lesson, other will forget. As the years pass, I believe civilization will deteriorate and humans will be more animalistic and uncontrolled. It's a sad and frightening thought, but with many forgetting the lessons learned, what else would there be?
