…This is by far one of the bloodiest battles fought in the civil war. It was the turning point in the war. This battle defined men. Many of these people fought for what they thought was right and did not understand why the other side felt the way they did. They both thought they were doing the right thing but the union won because they had more resources, more resolve, and therefore the greater power.
