…a fantasy world, about to take a cruise on a yacht with a Texas oil tycoon. She is sent away to a mental institution. These events all contribute to the mental breakdown of Blanche DuBois. After the death of her husband, she always looks for a way to get back to the way she used to be. Every attempt makes things worse in the long run, and she eventually deteriorates to a state of insanity.
