…deadly to the bacteria. In the twentieth century, our knowledge in science, medicine, and technology has grown in a fanatic rate. We cannot conceive what advances the future may bring-a cure for AIDS? Ending world hunger? But what we can be sure of is that accidents will continue to happen and, with human minds more prepared than ever before, we can expect these accidents to turn into wonderful discoveries, marvelous beyond our imagination, through serendipity.
