…as well. In place there was a dangerous ideology of thinking: that when times are good they are there to stay. This thinking can set up a town like Flint for even more devastation than would have normally occurred. As stated in the beginning, dependency makes power possible. Certain ideologies are unavoidable and dangerous. The good times may be here but they don't always stay for long. Opportunity knocks but is not a lengthy visitor.
