Raskalnikov's Psychosis is a psychoanalitical perspective on the book Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky. It's an awesome essay, one of my best. Period.

For Dostoevsky, however, his protagonist is able to turn this marvelous ability of dominating all parts of his mind into a weakness rather than a flaw. This is what makes Dostoevsky's writing profound enough to last the years of criticism its been subject to, making it a contemporary classic for all readers and scholars alike.
