Firstly, it will not be in practice until 2012 (at least another 2 elections), which is too long for some voters to consider, and could also redirect possible voters that are now influenced by the Labor's 'hit list'. In comparison, the Coalition's promise of low interest rates and booming economy appear to be a much safer and promising alternative.
