Poem comparison of "To his coy mistress" and "I Wanna Be Yours"

To His Coy Mistress and I Wanna Be Yours I am comparing the two poems 'To His Coy Mistress' by Andrew Marvell in 1621-1678 and 'I wanna be yours.' By John Cooper Clark. There are many similarities in these two poems, the main one is the fact that both the writers are writing to a woman describing his love for her. …to truly love her, but I think the second stanza takes it a bit too far and ruins the poem. It could also be seen as the opposite of this because of its harsh second stanza, in parts of it like "The graves a fine and private place But none, I think do there embrace." Seams like he just wants to take her to bed, and doesn't actually love her. <Tab/>
