BIOGRAPHY Pablo Ruiz Picasso was born in Málaga, Spain on October 25, 1881. Picasso's parents were Maria Picasso y Lopez and José Ruiz Blasco, a teacher of drawing and a curator. In 1953 Picasso separates from François Gilot and meets Jacqueline Roque. By 1954 they move in together, and in 1961 they get married. April 8, 1973 Picasso dies and is buried two days later.
