One September Day

September 11, 2001 The United States and the world underwent an immense change on September 11, 2001, due to the hideous acts of terrorism committed on the World Trade Centers in New York City, and the Pentagon in Washington D.C. This was an act that no one in my generation has ever seen or experienced, except at a movie theatre on a Friday or Saturday night. To watch the terrors unfold on television was truly terrifying. …think so. I truly believe that everything happens, happens for specific reason. Even something as horrific as the terrorist attacks on September 11th, will bear something positive in the long run. John F. Kennedy said it best, "Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty."
