…a weaker being, falling at the hand of the strong predators that hunt him. As far as themes go, Lennie is essential for most of their existence. Lennie is one of the most noteworthy characters in the book, and possibly the most in-depth as well. His significance is greatly outlined almost throughout the entire book. He has connections with everyone, and truly touches the lives of everyone he meets; in and outside of the book.
