Machismo is the belief that some men have about men being superior than women. This was very common between the 60's and 70's in Mexico, and for Mexicans living in certain parts of the United States. Machismo is a horrible thing. It makes women suffer like hell and it doesn't let them have too many opportunities or freedom. A world without machismo would make the earth go faster (progress faster) because women have a great intelligence and potential that shouldn't be wasted.
