Through the novel ?Lord of the Flies? references are given about the government, regular society and its problems. …t work. Although the boys were isolated from the world, they tried to act civil, they still fought and warred. At the time the world was also in a war. So even though they weren?t influenced by the world around them, they still being innocent (to some extent) still acted like the rest of the world. Humans are not perfect and no matter how hard they tried neither could the boys on the island.
