…find the right path. In this novel he chooses to stray down the wrong path. He knows of the wrongs being done, but keeps walking on down the path of death and destruction. Along the way he is able to point fingers at the other Europeans to boost himself up, but for the most part he is just as destructive as any other European. Marlow ignores his self-conscious and does not do what is right.
