Gun Control

<Tab/>In one year, firearms killed no children in Japan, 19 in Great Britain, 57 in Germany, 109 in France, 153 in Canada, and 5,285 in the United States (Handgun Control). Just looking at these numbers it is obvious that there is a problem with guns killing out children in the United States. The numbers for the death of children in the United States is way too high. …wants their child or spouse to be taken from them prematurely because of an accident. The gun control debate is one in which people have very opposing opinions. However, by putting child safety locks on firearms, doing background checks at gun shows and raising the age to access guns are steps that our society can take that would satisfy both sides of the gun control debate and also decrease the levels of gun related deaths.
