…escape in dissimilar ways. Overall the novel is kind of boring with nothing but narration as a stream of consciousness. However, there are parts that make the reader want to keep reading to unveil the fate of Offred. I found it to be more compelling than 1984, yet still low in my ranks. Despite this, the novel greatly shows that language is a power that shouldn't be take for granted, a lesson that everyone should learn.
