Generosity in Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice"

In William Shakespeare's play called The Merchant of Venice, the antagonist of the play is Shylock, a wealthy Jewish moneylender. Today, with the technological developments people begin to forget about humanely feelings and qualities. One of these features is generosity, giving something to another person in return for nothing. Unfortunately, as Shylock each of us try to gain power in order to be strong in this cruel world. Therefore monetary issues are important in order to survive.
