The legalization and recognition of gay marriage in all 50 states is the next obstacle for social evolution. It is beneficial to both the individual and society, regardless of sexual orientation, to remove the ban. Gay marriage should not be barred to those who chose to marry a person of the same sex; it is their choice in doing so.
