Feminism That Went Too Far

Adrienne Rich was an accomplished poet that spoke up for the feminist's right movement in her many books of poetry and collections of prose. She published an essay in 1971 entitled When We Dead Awaken: Writing as Re-Vision that addresses the issues of female literary and academic oppression. …in women's rights, and to top it all off her accredited sources are women activists from the early 1900's which were written at least half a decade ago. Adrienne Rich should not be a creditable source of information because she has only seen one side. She knows nothing about men and it is evident because she is lesbian. I truly found her essay to be nothing more then the views of a stubborn, bitter feminist.
