Far too little attention is paid to the needs of the minority

Imagine living in a society almost completely cut off from the rest of the world. Not only is this society isolated, discrimination and prejudice is nothing but way of life which you experience daily. Well, so how does all this seem to you? …terms. All of them comprise minorities of various kinds and for this reason, the rights of minorities are of paramount importance to all who cherish human freedom. No society and no country can be termed a liberal democracy that does not acknowledge, implement and respect the rights of minorities. Let us not wait till the day where the needs of the minority become a major issue before we act, or everything might be too late...
