Abstract This report is a study of the effects of UV exposure on the growth of four strains of non-photosynthetic bacteria: Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus megaturium and Psuedomonas aeruginosa. Using a UV Transilluminator, each strain was exposed to nine different time intervals of UV radiation at a frequency of 1x 10 Mhz.
