Diversity is "otherness," or those human qualities that are different from our own and outside the groups to which we belong, yet are present in other individuals and groups. It is important to distinguish between the primary and secondary dimensions of diversity. The most important thing is understanding, patience and educating yourself with one another. Please don't let your misunderstanding or lack of knowledge lead to prejudice and or discrimination or ultimately hate crimes. We need to all work together to further our society and that society includes many diversities.
