Denial of Rights in 1984

…always preserve our right to be able to turn off out T.V, radio, and PC whenever we choose. As for Orwell, I believe his grim vision of his future was only a warning of what we must continually fight to deny and prevent. If Big Brother is watching, as some peo-ple may believe, I know that I certainly do not feel the paranoia and fear that Winston Smith and the citizens of Oceania experienced.
