Comparing Two Student Papers Concerning Types of Literature

Upon my first reading of the two student papers I could tell that "Initiation into Adulthood" does not conform to the convention of writing about literature discussed in this chapter as "Hard Choices" does. First, there was not a work's cited page to help the reader locate the short stories used in his paper. Secondly, I noticed the author did not always use the full name of the original author when citing a quote, which is correct use of citing sources.
