Causes and Consequences of the Korean Division.

There is no single group or cause to blame for the division of Korea and there are no clear-cut consequences of the division. The consequences of this division are sometimes difficult to determine because the question of what is actually caused by division and what is caused by the different occupation. Despite this, it is still possible to determine some consequences that can be surprisingly similar in nature, such as the formation of authoritarian governments and very different, such as the different paths of economic development.
