Canada's Economic Condition in the 1930's

The 1920's was the boom of the Canadian economy. Everything was going well, the war was over. Women were fighting for their rights, and received them, and were often considered better for certain jobs. …about a third of the Canadian population was jobless. Getting a job wherever they could. It was getting very common to see people and their furniture on the street since they could not afford to pay their mortgage or rent. Workers were also threatened of loosing their job, since there were millions of others of other that were willing to take it, even for the low wages they were receiving. <Tab/>
