…by natural human tendencies of pride, greed, cowardice, betrayal, and self-concern, throughout his life. Beowulf had to deal with many compounding temptations in his life. However he chose the life of a true Anglo-Saxon warrior, upholding the code of Comitataus and fighting for what he believed in and held so dear. Casting aside all of his natural urges he fought on throughout his life to gain the fame and immortality he so desired and deserved.
