All in all, the Greek dramatist Sophocles made the right decision when he named his tragedy after the true tragic hero, Antigone. Without a doubt, this character has a high social standing, is neither overly good nor bad, and sticks to her fatal flaw. All of which make her a tragic hero, or one who one who had a tragic flaw, or a fall due to a specific flaw in his or her personality.
