A Separate Peace

…war was almost already over in Europe. Their actions were to be expected. They were in fear for their lives and tried to do all they could to physically and mentally plan for a war and possible death. Their actions were influenced by the war, and perhaps their separate peace could only be found in knowing that they would soon be helping to preserve the freedom and rights of a country they so dearly loved.
