A History of Japanese Photography.

Since Japan opened the island nation to the West, the camera has witnessed that country's technological and emotional transformation. The Houston Museum of Fine arts has done an outstanding job showing this fine collection of photographs. There are all types of photographic presentation shown at the exhibition. …used to give a somber mood to the photograph. There is nothing that draws your attention to one spot, but keeps you focused on each little disturbing detail. These photos seem to express the struggle of a race of people that have overcome anything that has been placed in their way. I enjoyed the history more than the art of the different photographs. The Museum has done an outstanding job showing these works of photography.
