Understanding Motion 1: Position and Time
1. Problem Statement:
The goal of this lab was to show the relationship between the motion of an object, one of the lab students, and a graph of position and time for the moving object. During the lab exercise we would discover that relationship by comparing our movement to a graph previously set up for us.
2. Procedure:

little bit because the person was moving and walking backwards so there was no sure footing. Also people’s hands can shake and not be controlled voluntarily. These were both unavoidable reasons for error.
7. Conclusion:
By recording our movement we discovered as the time passed we moved farther away from the starting point. There was a direct relationship between time and the placement of the person walking in front of the motion sensor.
