People say that losing a loved one is a great tragedy. I believed them but never realized the horror of it. Death was something beyond my understanding until March 3rd, 1997. It was the day when I thought I would never collect the pieces of my broken heart, the day when God delivered his first blow, the day of my grandfather’s death. it did, everything just went down the drain. For some time, I was shocked, just as, Barry was shocked. But I knew I couldn’t just hide away forever in my pain, and let it eat me up.
