…showed last 75 words of 725 total…idea of how hard it was for woman in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. What Anthony accomplished in her lifetime is the reason she is a symbol for woman’s rights in our civilization today. I considered the writing of this book to give a good example of how hard woman had it back then. I admired how Anthony didn’t let any persecution stop her; she just kept trying and never gave up.
