idea of how hard it was for woman in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. What Anthony accomplished in her lifetime is the reason she is a symbol for woman’s rights in our civilization today. I considered the writing of this book to give a good example of how hard woman had it back then. I admired how Anthony didn’t let any persecution stop her; she just kept trying and never gave up.
