Sermon on the Mount · Since Medieval times, stained glass windows have in an artistic manner been conveying meaningful messages. During that time period the artistry has been magnificent with its rich colors and detail. The Holy Angels Library at St. Charles Preparatory School contains such a window which depicts the Sermon on the Mount. In the glass window mentioned, the spatial arrangement is rather cramped. The Beatitudes stated in the story gave the world things to contemplate about and to reflect on their lives.
