Teens have been conditioned to buy. The author shows many ways in why the mall has an affect on the teen. From school to home, teens have learned little of a complex world. Shopping has been introduced to them because the limiting responsibilities they maintain. Teens, I believe are known to purchase a lot compared to adults showing why teens are targeted by stores to buy.
