Liberty, to me, means the power to do what we please or the state of having freedom. Having the liberty gives us the privilege to do what we please and having the right to make our own choice. …to make our own choices and speak our mind. Liberty is what makes us free, without it the United States probably could not have risen to the glory we posses today. It has united us as one nation and though there is still racism and sexism today, we are better off than before.
