Throughout the history of social movements, there have been great differences in opinion about the direction that each respective movement should take. This difference in opinion usually occurs between the liberal, and more radical factions of the movement. Also the painfully slow pace with which progress occurs with in the system, can ware on the people involved, and drive them to more extreme tactics.
