Many social and constitutional developments were constructed through the years of 1860 – 1877. During this time of national disruption a great revolution came about. One that gave equal rights to women and African Americans. This time was excellent and forever changes the way we treat our fellow Americans. This revolutionary period is with out regard a success in our nations history.
