To do so, the government must enact an immediate moratorium that allows a “time-out” or pause on immigration. The government needs time to assimilate the massive number of people who entered in over the last 20 years. This pause will provide U.S government time to determine an immigration policy for the 21st century while getting the domestic problems in order.
