Born in Athens, Greece around 325 B.C., Euclid grew up to be one of the greatest Greek mathematicians of all time. Very little is known about his life. Even the dates and places of his birth and death are unsure of, yet historians have come up with a vague outline of his life. Euclid also came up with Euclidean geometry. It was the study of points, lines, planes and other geometric figures. He lived a great life and contributed many things to man up until around 265 B.C., when he passed away.
